The year 2004 marks the tenth anniversary of DISCOURSE. Since the inauguration of DISCOURSE in 1994, world events and developments have provided a great opportunity for philosophical reflection about the contemporary world. For this reason, the theme for the 2004 volume of DISCOURSE will be "Philosophical Questions of the Past Decade." The editorial board hopes this theme will provide a forum for various contemporary philosophical interests. Some possible topics include questions concerning war, feminism, applied philosophy, politics, technology, ethics, and time, but submissions should not be limited by these suggestions.

      While well-written work dealing with the aforementioned topic is preferred, the editorial staff of DISCOURSE remains open to accepting work outside of the years suggested theme.
