HOPOS
is an international society of scholars who share an interest in promoting serious, scholarly research on the history of the philosophy of science. We construe this statement of shared interest broadly, to include all historical periods, studied through diverse methodologies, and to include topics in the history of related disciplines, such as the natural and social sciences, logic, philosophy, and mathematics. We aim to promote historical work in a variety of ways, but especially through encouraging the exchange of ideas among scholars through meetings, publications, and electronic media and through disseminating information about libraries, archives and collections, meetings, publications, and funding opportunities.
