By making a gift to the
Parents Fund you can have a direct impact on the educational experience of
undergraduate students at the University of San Francisco. Your unrestricted
gift will support the university’s core priorities, and help us educate minds
and hearts to change the world.Your gift truly makes a
difference. Here are some of the
projects that are partially funded by the generous donations of parents like
you:
- Service learning, study abroad and
immersion experiences. Hundreds
of USF students participate in these life-changing experiences every year.
From teaching English in San Francisco’s Mission District, to building
houses in South Africa, and serving as nurse midwives in Guatemala, our
students learn how giving back can greatly enhance their own lives.
- The Learning and Writing Center is used by more than 1,300 undergraduates
each year. It helps students think more clearly, write more effectively,
and improve academic performance.
- The USF Career Services Center serves more than 2,000 students a year. It
helps students discover job opportunities, perfect resumes, and practice
the interview skills that can make the difference in landing that first
job.
- The new Center for Science and Innovation (CSI) will transform the heart of the USF
campus and establish USF as a leader in undergraduate science education.
The project will provide 57,000 square feet of space for cutting edge
science education, and will also create a bold new gathering space for the
entire university community.
