The Center’s Visiting Fellows Program, under the auspices of the Kiriyama Chair for Pacific Rim Studies at the Center, and the EDS-Stewart Chair for Chinese-Western Cultural History at the Ricci Institute, brings prominent scholars, journalists, diplomats, and other professionals to USF campus to spearhead and participate in research projects, to present public lectures, and to interact with students in the Master of Arts in Asia Pacific Studies (MAPS) program.
In the current year the Center's endowed Chairs are helping support both young and established scholars to make important contributions to their fields:
Scott Bruce, Director, Nautilus Institute for Security and Sustainability, US Node; Nautilus Fellow
Patrick Lloyd Hatcher, Ph.D.; Distinguished Fellow, Kiriyama Chair for Pacific Rim Studies
Ellen Huang, Ph.D., Kiriyama Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow
