In the great tradition of the Jesuit scholars who ventured forth to Asia beginning in the16th century and whose seminal work in the fields of language study, the sciences, and education continue to have value to today's students and researchers, MAPS faculty from the College of Arts and Sciences contribute to the increase of knowledge about Asia through their ongoing research.
