WELCOME
We,
the brothers of Delta Sigma Pi, feel that we have something very
special to offer you. You, as a student heading towards
a career in business, may be interested in our co-ed professional
business fraternity. That’s right - we are a fraternity
and not a club. We are one of the few business groups on
campus that can claim that important distinction. Being
a fraternity means that not only do we all share common interests
and goals, but also a special bond of “Brotherhood” that is so
unique to a group such as ours.
Delta
Sigma Pi has much to offer: it helps its members who are not already
in the business school with the application process; it exposes
members to career opportunities; and its members develop interview
techniques, improve public speaking and leadership abilities,
write nearly perfect resumes and cultivate other professional
concerns. Most importantly, every brother becomes involved
within the fraternity, and friendships are developed that last
well beyond our college years.
Delta
Sigma Pi is the largest and most prestigious business fraternity
of its kind. We are a group of hardworking, dedicated people
who possess a strong desire to excel in the business world and
better ourselves as individuals. If you are this kind of
person, we encourage you to seek membership into our fraternity
and share in the great pride of being a Brother of Delta Sigma
Pi.

PROFESSIONAL
ACTIVITIES
Each
year, Delta Sigma Pi renews its commitment to professional development.
Our professional programs offer undergraduate business students
opportunities for personal improvements as well as enhancement
of business skills and experience.
Professional
activities include representatives from several firms in the Bay
Area who utilize our events as a forum for sharing relevant and
useful information. Office visits and interview/resume workshops
also serve to diversify our professional program.
Delta
Sigma Pi’s professional activities help prepare its members to
take the knowledge they have learned in the classroom and successfully
apply it in the business world, while making valuable contacts.
Some of our past events include:
- Interview
and resume workshops provided by Career Services Center
- Presentations
by USF alumni and their companies
- Chip
Conely who runs many successful hotels and restaurants.
- Information
sessions from firms such as E-Bay.

COMMUNITY
SERVICE
Besides
our professional programs, some of the most important functions
of Delta Sigma Pi are the many community service activities in
which we participate. The Gamma Omicron chapter sponsors
a wide variety of community service events throughout the year.
In addition to serving the community, these events help to nourish
a stronger relationship between Delta Sigma Pi and the community.
In previous semesters, Gamma Omicron has participated in the following
community service events:
- USF

SOCIAL
EVENTS
As
students, our main priorities are general studying, working, eating,
and sleeping. While these things are obviously important,
we, the brothers of Delta Sigma Pi, also find a pressing need
to relax and have fun as much as we can. Delta Sigma Pi
offers numerous social events throughout the year to help alleviate
the pressure of college life. These events, whether formal
or informal, further cultivate the bonds of brotherhood felt by
all of our members. Some of our past events include:
- Semester
Retreats: Camping, Lake Tahoe, and other exciting places
- Annual
Rose Dance
- Movie
Nights
- End
of the Semester Banquets
- Participation
in Greek Games
- Theme
parties
