5/15/05: After submitting a proposal for a Business Law Certificate that had glowing reviews from the majority of the faculty, the academic board rejected it, stating only that there is a moratorium on certificates. The BLA is working with the Deans office and a number of faculty members to make a new proposal and orally argue it before the academic review committee.

4/20/05: The second BLA night out at the Giants game was even a larger success that the first. With 120 tickets sold we had a great turnout and a good game.

9/22: The BLA's night out at the Giants Game was a huge success. With all 100 tickets sold and a pre-game tailgate, it was a night to remember.

7/30: The BLA has received recognition from the MBA school as a business organization, making the BLA recognized and supported by both the School of Law and School of Business.
