At USF, we like to consider San Francisco our extended classroom. After all, where else can you have the resources of the nation's number one tourist destination and leading financial, arts, cultural, sports, and entertainment choices at your doorstep? Dynamic and cosmopolitan, San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area are integral parts of the USF experience, offering internship, service learning, and volunteer opportunities to round out your USF experience.

So what shall it be, ballet, opera, the symphony? How about the Cinco de Mayo celebration, the St. Patrick's Day Parade, or the Chinese New Year Parade? Maybe some dancing south or Market or comedy or jazz clubs? Food, you, say? A cultural feast is yours on nearby Geary and Clement streets where a variety of ethnic cuisines await.

And let's not forget cable cars and other landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Coit Tower, Lombard Street, and for those of you who feel like driving, the Napa wine country, just an hour away.
