Student Consent to Release Information

As soon as you, the student, registers for classes, your records at USF are protected from unauthorized release under the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act. USF staff is prohibited from giving out your specific information regarding student account, financial aid, and registration records (including grades) to anyone, including your parents, unless you, the student, have submitted a “Student Consent to Release Information” form.

You, the student, can provide authorization online or submit as instructed a completed Student Consent to Release Information form.

Online Instructions

  • Log on to USFconnect.
  • Click on the link in the "Student Self Service" area which is located in the center column of the "Student" tab.
  • Click on the “Student Consent to Release Information” link under Personal Information and enter the requested information.
