New Students attending Spring Orientation will receive their USF One Card as part of the orientation process.

*Returning students should refer to the Lost Cards & Replacement Cards page for replacement costs and related information.

OBTAINING MY FIRST USF ONE CARD AT SPRING ORIENTATION

Id Express is the recommended method for obtaining your first USF One Card.  It reduces processing time, which, in turn, reduces the time you spend waiting in line.

New students who opt out of ID Express are asked to visit the One Card and Campus Security Systems Office, Lone Mountain 130, during Orientation to obtain a USF One Card. A staff member will take your picture and print your card for you; however, processing time will vary, depending upon the number of customers in line. Remember to bring a valid form of government-issued photo ID (e.g., a driver's license, state ID card, or passport) - your first One Card will not be issued to you without it

ID EXPRESS INSTRUCTIONS FOR FALL ORIENTATION

ID Express is a program offered by the One Card and Campus Security Systems Office that enables new students to minimize the amount of time that it takes to receive their first USF One Card. The new student submits a photograph online or via e-mail/regular mail before an orientation event. A One Card and Campus Security Systems staff member then prints the card and issues it to the student during Orientation.

Option 1: Instructions for Online ID Express

1.

  • Find a recent color photograph of yourself (your entire head and shoulders must be visible, and you should be facing directly towards the camera) and save it as a JPEG or JPG file
  • Log onto Online ID Express with your USF Connect username and password. Under "Upload a New Photo" click "Browse" and find your photograph. Then "Upload" and "Submit" it
  • You will receive an e-mail regarding the acceptance or rejection of the photograph you submitted. (You also may check the status of your photograph by logging onto the Online ID Express website and clicking on "View Your Pictures")
  • If your photograph is rejected, an e-mail will be sent to your USF e-mail address requesting submission of a new one

2.

  • Pick up your USF One Card during Orientation in Lone Mountain 130
  • Be sure to review the orientation guidelines that you receive in your acceptance packet. Special processing, including changes of venue and alternate office hours, may apply
