USF Employee

OVERVIEW

Employees (faculty and staff) working at the University should obtain their USF ID Card within the first week of starting employment. Current and new employees can obtain a new or replacement USF ID Card by visiting the USF One Card Office.

See Report a Lost Card for replacement costs and related information.

If employees experience a break in their employment, they should return their USF ID Card to their supervisor. The supervisor should destroy the card by cutting it into pieces, or return it to the One Card Office to destroy. If employees attend classes while employed as part of the Tuition Remission program, although not required, they may have their original USF ID Card replaced (at no charge) to reflect the dual status, employee and student. If they keep their original USF ID Card, it will be automatically updated to include any qualified for student services.

OBTAINING MY FIRST USF ID CARD

Prior to obtaining their first USF ID Card, employees must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Visit the Human Resources Office (Lone Mountain room 339) and speak with the receptionist, who will confirm that your new employee file is complete. You will then receive a New Employee USF ID Card Request Form to present to the USF One Card Office.

  • Show a valid form of government issued photo ID (driver's license, state ID Card, passport).
