USF Employee

OVERVIEW

Employees (faculty and staff) working at the University should obtain their USF One Card within the first week of starting employment.

Current and new employees may obtain a new or replacement USF One Card by visiting the One Card and Campus Security Systems Office. Please refer to the Lost Cards & Replacement Cards page for replacement costs and related information.

If an employee experiences a break in their employment, they should return their USF One Card to their supervisor. The supervisor either should destroy the card by shredding it, or return it to the One Card and Campus Security Systems Office.

Employees who attend classes while employed at USF, as part of the Tuition Remission Program, should replace their original USF One Card (at no charge) with a new one that reflects their dual status as both employee and student.

OBTAINING MY FIRST USF ONE CARD

Prior to obtaining your first USF One Card, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Visit the Human Resources Office, Lone Mountain 339, and speak with the receptionist, who will confirm that your new-employee file is complete. You then will receive a New Employee USF ID Card Request Form to present to the One Card and Campus Security Systems Office
  • Have a valid form of government-issued photo ID (e.g., a driver's license, state ID card, or passport) - your first USF One Card will not be issued to you without it
