The DNP program is designed for both BSN and MSN trained nurses who aspire to earn their Doctor of Nursing Practice in either a Family Nurse Practitioner, Healthcare Systems Leadership or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner track.

RN to MSN

The program comprises 35 units for RNs with a BSN and 46 units for RNs with an ADN over the course of 2 years of study. It is full time, with classroom instruction 1 day a week plus clinical practice.

Upcoming Admission Deadlines

The School of Nursing and Health Professions accepts applications year round for its programs for the Registered Nurse. Students are admitted on a rolling-admit basis and begin classes in the Summer, Fall and Spring semesters. The priority deadlines are February 15 for summer admission, July 15 for fall admission, and October 15 to be considered for spring admission.

Applicants will be notified of their admission decision approximately six weeks after the deadline.
