Help us track flu symptoms by taking part of USF's Flu Near You initiative!
Flu Near You allows the public to report their health information using a quick weekly survey. Flu Near You maps participant reported symptoms, providing local and national view of influenza-like illness.
We need to protect our USF community from the flu.
The purpose of starting Flu Near You on USF campus is to protect and prevent influenza outbreaks among our community. After a basic registration, you will be able to track flu activity around your physical environment year-around. To make a difference, your contributions of reporting your flu-like symptoms (or lack thereof) makes a great impact in our community. A short, 5-second checklist will be sent to you on Mondays. Flu Near You will remind you to report your symptoms weekly through a notification via email and/or mobile app. Based on the self-reported symptoms collected, the USF community will be able to identify hot spots of influenza and we can take precautionary measures against the flu. With your active participation, we will reduce our chances of becoming ill and hospitalized.
Let's be the first to change the world from here!
