Open Houses/Information Meetings

Not All Information Lives On The Net!

Once in awhile you actually have the opportunity to interact with real live people. Come join us for our next information meeting and learn more about the School of Nursing and USF - you will see how one of our nursing degree programs may just open doors for you.

For students who have been admitted to the University, please contact the School of Nursing office to schedule an appointment if you are interested in talking with a faculty member or administrator.

ON-CAMPUS

Undergraduate/Transfer Information Meetings

These meetings are geared towards the pre-licensure student who has not earned bachelor's degree yet. These are students who have either their high school diploma, their GED, a non-nursing associate's degree or some college credits but no degree. Transferring into the pre-licensure BSN Program will be discussed at these meetings.

The Office of Admission offers daily info sessions as well as campus tours Monday through Friday at 10 AM and at 2 PM.

Additionally on the first Wednesday of each month at 4 PM, a nursing representative will be on hand to answer any questions that you may have concerning the BSN program. All sessions are held in the Admission Presentation Room, located in Lone Mountain Central. Upcoming dates include:

Graduate Information Meetings

These meetings are geared towards both the RN and the non-nurse who is interested in a career change and an advanced degree.   Students will learn more about the masters and doctoral degree options in the School of Nursing.

OFF-CAMPUS

The School of Nursing is represented at various fairs and programs in the Bay Area.  Many are open to the Public. Please email at tai@usfca.edu for more information.

Upcoming Admission Deadlines

The priority application deadline for prospective undergraduate students (freshmen and transfer) for Fall 2008 is January 15, 2008. The priority application deadline for prospective undergraduate students (freshmen and transfer) for Spring 2009 is December 1, 2008.

The priority application deadline for the Clinical Nurse Leader degree program for the Non-Nurse for Summer 2008 is February 15, 2008.  Applicants will be notified of their admission decision in spring 2008.

The School of Nursing accepts applications year round for its programs for the Registered Nurse.   Students are admitted on a rolling-admit basis and begin classes in the Summer, Fall and Spring semesters. The priority deadlines are July 15 for fall admission, November 15, for spring admission, and February 15 to be considered for summer admission.
