The assistant professor talks about diversity, coffee, and making every moment count.

Why did you choose to work at USF?
The University of San Francisco has many advantages like student diversity, a gorgeous campus and a great business program. But when the Dean shared her vision with me, I decided to look no further.

What is your favorite place in San Francisco?
Golden Gate Park & Ritual Coffee.

What advice do you have for incoming students?
Be curious, be present and get out of your comfort zone. Make every moment count towards who you want to be, throughout your college education.

What are you looking forward to doing on campus this year?
I look forward to spending lots of time on campus, exploring facilities, meeting with new people, focusing on my research and helping students unlock their full potential.

What was your first job as a teenager?
Receptionist at a hotel.

What is one book you would recommend?
Dostoevsky - Crime and Punishment.
