Project Management Communications: A Global Partnership USF and Aurhus University of San Francisco School of Management Professor Linda Henderson, Ph.D, a global leader in the field of Project Management Communication, speaks with Line Ramsing, a Ph.D. candidate from Aurhus University School of Business in Aurhus, Denmark regarding their shared scholarly work. Professor Henderson's scholarly career in this field of communication provides specialized information which is not available within the Aurhus institution. Ms. Ramsing is engaged in a guided study with Professor Henderson through a grant from the Danish government which supports external research among Ph.D. candidates. The MBA Energy Club and the Chevrolet VOLT MBA Programs have a long standing commitment to issues of sustainability. The USF BPS MBA Energy Club is a group of concerned students who attempt to take leadership in these issues. In accordance with that, the club arranged to have representatives from General Motors come to present the new Chevrolet VOLT Electric Car and to answer questions about its actual relevance for sustainability issues. As a result of his studies, and particularly the result of studying with Professor Carlos Baradello in the GLOBAL PRODUCT INNOVATION course, he is now an entrepreneur himself, having created the web site: glampinghub.com which is the leading aggregator of information about the growing international trend of "glamour camping," or glamping.

MBA for Executives At USF School of Business and Professional Studies

Recent and current students in the MBA for Executives program at the University of San Francisco School of Management speak about their reasons for studying at USF, and the rewards and returns that have come from being part of the program. Interview subjects include an alumna who has gone on to become an Associate Dean at the School, a student who is a Director at Visa, Inc.; a high ranking executive at GE Healthcare, and the Vice-President of a family business — all of whom have found the USF MBAE program to be what they were seeking. Though the program is rigorous they have found that it has been tailored to allow busy and successful executives to take on an intense challenge, particularly because the faculty are sensitive to their needs and because the cohort system allows deeply productive and fulfilling collaborations among students in a way that models real-world work environments.
