With an ever-expanding global business community, accounting
continues to be the common language for business leaders and managers. Our
program will make you fluent in understanding what is happening on the inside
of a business, preparing you for a career in public accounting, private
industry or government.
Accounting Curriculum (20 units)
Accounting majors take a full year of accounting: Principles
of Accounting I and II, during your Sophomore year.
As Juniors, you will enroll in Intermediate Accounting I and
II, giving you a comprehensive understanding of accounting theory, practice and
financial reporting.
Senior year gives you an opportunity to specialize in an
area of interest by pairing Contemporary Accounting Topics with electives of
your choosing.
We assist students in preparing for the CPA (Certified
Public Accounting Exam) through computer-based self-study programs.
