Associate Dean of International and Executive Programs Professor Carlos Baradello has announced that USF School of Business recently completed its first Silicon Valley Immersion Program On-Location in Colombia in collaboration with CREAME (pronounced "Craya-May" which translates as "believe me" in Spanish), an organization for entrepreneurial development in Colombia.

With the on-site collaboration of USF Adjunct Professors Cesar Castro and Cecily O’Regan, as well as strategic videoconference presentations, 45 South American students were able to become certified in the field of “Entrepreneurship Advisory” while staying on their home site.  The on-site version of the program delivers a powerful immersion in Silicon Valley entrepreneurship and innovation at a quarter of the cost associated with bringing students to the Bay Area and the USF BPS campus.

CREAME (Centro Integral de  Servicios Empresariales, Colombia) — which has sent two groups of students to participate in SVI in the Bay Area —continues as a key collaborator with USF BPS, and was instrumental in achieving a successful on-site production.  Led by Pedro Vazquez, successful businessman and Chairman of the Board of CREAME, the organization is perhaps the most important independent force for entrepreneurship in Colombia.
