While in Lima, Peru, recently, Dr. Carlos Baradello — Senior Director of our Corporate and International Executive Programs — took the opportunity to meet, for the second time this summer, with the leaders of Centrum Catolica -- the Business School of the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru. He is exploring with the school’s leaders the possibility of an umbrella collaboration between Centrum Catolica and the USF School of Management, which would be the first step toward the inclusion of our SILICON VALLEY IMMERSION PROGRAM into their MBA curriculum.

Professor Baradello was in Peru to represent our school at the 17th World Forum of the International Association of Jesuit Business Schools, held in Lima.

Carlos wrote to us about Centrum Catolica:

I am very impressed by the quality of their infrastructures (world class), their accreditations, and the can do/action-oriented attitude of their dean.

I think beyond their high rankings (which give them the #1 position across most graduate programs), this is the right organization for us to partner with in Peru.

The dominant wisdom is that the newly-elected president, Humala, will continue supporting the market-oriented policies which have yielded GDP growth of over 6% during the last decade. Furthermore, as an economy in transition, it will be an interesting place for our students to learn about an emerging country’s business. In addition, their rich cultural base and remarkable geography will enhance any education experience.
