The USF School of Business and Professional Studies was invited by San Francisco’s Police Chief, George Gascon, to join in representing the San Francisco Police Department at a national task force in Washington, DC entitled: "Developing the Next Generation of Leaders." Our school’s representative was Professor Tony Ribera —USF School of Business and Professional Studies International Institute Of Criminal Justice Leadership Director, as well as a retired former San Francisco Chief of Police.
The task force is sponsored by the Bureau of Justice Assistance and the Police Executive Research Forum and represents an 18-month, international project. The SFPD is one of three departments involved, including: New Orleans and Greater Manchester, UK.
