Professor Rich Callahan, Associate Professor in the School of Management’s Department of Public and Nonprofit Administration recently received the American Society of Public Administration, Southern California Chapter, 40th Annual Henry Scoville Award for Academic Excellence, for his teaching of graduate degree programs and other service work in Los Angeles.
The award was presented by former ASPA National President, and current USC Duggin Professor of Public Administration, Dr. Chester Newland.

In addition, Professor Callahan presented an award on behalf of the ASPA Chapter to Connie Rice, Executive Director of the Advancement Project for Organizational Excellence for their work in civil rights, violence reduction in Los Angeles, and reducing gang violence.
