Rebekah Wai-Ling Chang at the University of International Business and Economics in China.

Thirty six USF BPS McLaren College of Business students participated in thirteen separate Study Abroad programs in Spring, 2010.

One excellent example of our international programs is Rebekah Wai-Ling Chang who is due to graduate Magna Cum Laude this Fall as an International Business major.  As Rebekah tells the story: “Originally, I was accepted to The Beijing Center in Beijing China. However I decided not to go to the program because a professor recommended me for a scholarship (Chinese Government Scholarship). The scholarship was provided by the Chinese Government and they covered all my expenses except for the plane ticket. The interesting thing is that they gave me a one-year scholarship to study at the same school (University of International Business and Economics) in which The Beijing Center is located.”

Rebekah’s story is reflected in the experience of many USF BPS students:

Twelve students are currently abroad in the Fall 2010 semester in eight separate programs.  (see lists below)

In addition, students are participating in two Special Partners For Honors programs in London and Barcelona.
