The 26th Annual International Technology & Persons with Disabilities Conference.
The conference, held this year in San Diego from March 14-19 2011, is the largest combined academic conference and trade show in the world hosting 5,000 participants dedicated to the design, development and distribution of assistive technologies for the disabled.
The academic sessions permit researchers from around the world to not only present scholarly papers, but also to confer with members of the assistive technology manufacturing and trade communities. This blended meeting allows designers and manufacturers to share knowledge pertinent to disabled community.
