Laura Flowerree
Laura Flowerree, a second-year MBA student with emphasis in
Entrepreneurship, has submitted her business plan in a global competition to
create a solution to today’s water problems. Imagine H2O, a non-profit
organization initiated by Harvard Business Students, supports entrepreneurs and
innovators to guarantee clean water and sanitation, and have geared year’s
competition towards water efficiency.
Over fifty teams from all over the world have submitted
entries, but only ten went on to the final competition. Laura’s group,
Envirocern, is one of those final teams awaiting results from the competition
that took place February 20th. Each group is hoping to receive the
grand prize: $70,000 cash, and legal and business support to transform their
solution into a proposal for legislation.
In a letter to her Entrepreneurial Management professor,
Mark Cannice, Laura writes, “Thanks again for all of your guidance…it was very
helpful and contributed to my efforts with this competition.”
Congratulations, Laura, and good luck!
