Graduate Student Advising

Students have access to academic advising provided by the Office of Graduate Student Affairs. The advisors available to students are listed below, and the particular areas they supervise are highlighted.

Mindi Mysliwiec, Director of Graduate Student Affairs | (415) 422-2546

The Director for Graduate Student Affairs oversees the operations of all graduate academic programs and the associated aspects of student life. Both within the University and to the external community, the Director is a representative and advocate for all the graduate programs and graduate students of the School of Management. Working with faculty, staff, students, and alumni, the Director is responsible for delivering the types of service which result in graduate students experiencing a valuable and unique USF experience both inside and outside the classroom.

Christina Teller, Assistant Director of Advising | (415) 422-2520

Is responsible for registration, day-to-day student-related academic matters and serves as resource to students for academic policy and procedure issues, including the international immersion programs, student well-being, and non-academic student discipline and behavior issues. Christina works with the Director of Graduate Student Affairs with regard to academic standards issues, including discipline and disqualification.

Melissa Lincoln, Assistant Director of Advising | (415) 422-6314

Blythe Hurley, Student Life Manager | (415) 422-2511

Oversees areas relating to student affairs and student life, including the Graduate Business Association, multi-cultural awareness issues and activities, student clubs and groups, and co-curricular student events. Blythe coordinates multiple aspects of orientation and is also responsible for graduation exercises.
