Certificates in Investor Relations

The Certificates in Investor Relations are not currently enrolling for Fall 2012, Spring 2013 or Summer 2013. The anticipated next start term is Fall 2013.

The Certificate in the Practice of Investor Relations (CPIR) and the Certificate in Finance for Investor Relations (CFIR) are designed for working professionals in Investor Relations, Financial Analysis, Public Relations or Corporate Communications and who are looking to augment their skills. Students may complete either certificate individually or may complete both certificates to earn the Certificate in Investor Relations. Students have up to three years to complete an individual certificate or up to five years to complete the combined Certificate in Investor Relations.

All Certificate in Investor Relations courses are taught by Investor Relations Officers, Consultants, Attorneys and Professors. Finance courses are shared with students in the Master of Science in Financial Analysis program (MSFA), and Investor Relations courses are shared with students in the full-time Master of Arts in Investor Relations (MAIR) program. The shared program structure enables students the opportunity to learn with, and from, one another throughout the program. Certificate students develop collegial and professional networks that continue well beyond the program.
