Concurrent Degree Programs

USF offers five concurrent degree programs designed to give you managerial expertise while pursuing an advanced degree outside of our business school.

Asia Pacific Studies/MBA

The M.A. in Asia Pacific Studies/MBA program is designed to provide a humanities-based, interdisciplinary degree that applies business expertise to the development of Asia and its impact on global economic systems. Awarded by the USF College of Arts and Sciences and the USF School of Management, the MAPS/MBA program provides a cost and time savings of up to 16 units.

  • Separate admission to each school is required
  • Students may begin either program first or begin the programs concurrently

Doctor of Dental Surgery/MBA

Partnering with the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry, the DDS/MBA program prepares you for management and leadership in the dental field. Whether you want to manage your own dental practice, be an active part of growing an existing larger practice, or provide leadership for another organization, our program will equip you with the business foundation to make it happen.

  • Students must complete their first year at UCSF’s School of Dentistry before being eligible to apply to the DDS/MBA program
  • Typical program length is four years

Environmental Management/MBA

The M.S. in Environmental Management/MBA program is designed to prepare you for leadership in the fast-growing environmental marketplace. Awarded by the USF College of Arts and Sciences and the USF School of Management, the Environmental Management/MBA program provides a cost and time savings of up to 12 units.

  • Students may begin either program first or begin the programs concurrently.

Financial Analysis/MBA

The M.S. in Financial Analysis/MBA program is designed to prepare you with a solid managerial foundation grounded with the quantitative rigor demanded by the financial field. The MSFA/MBA program provides a cost and time savings of up to 24 units.

  • Separate admission to each program is required
  • Students must complete 19 units in the MSFA program, but not yet have their degree conferred, for eligibility to begin the concurrent MBA program

Juris Doctor/MBA

The JD/MBA program is designed to give law students an in-depth knowledge of corporate business practices and the managerial skills necessary for leading large firms and organizations. Awarded by the USF School of Law and the USF School of Management, the JD/MBA program provides a cost and time savings of up to 24 units.

  • Separate admission to each school is required
  • Students must earn a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.51 (or above 2.50) at the end of the first year in the USF School of Law
