Each semester the program conducts a scholarship workshop to provide students with lists of available scholarship and provides practical assistance with the application process. Previous student scholarship recipients coach students who have not yet attained a scholarship on the process of application. This might include assistance with filling out the application, insight on the essay, how to request transcripts or a letter of recommendation and guides them with other helpful hints.
The scholarship workshop is a requirement for all hospitality majors in their first academic year.
Hospitality majors have exclusive access to nearly twenty different scholarship opportunities sponsored by hospitality associations, foundations, companies and individual benefactors.
