Albert & Sophie Yu Scholarship
Awarded to an MBA student with an interest in Asian studies, particularly in social-economic issues. Financial need considered. No separate application is required but student must have submitted the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is available online: www.fafsa.ed.gov. Scholarship awards are indicated in the admission letter.

Approximate Award: $10,000

Cassou-Shan Endowed Scholarship
An annual purse awarded to an MBA student who has demonstrated unique promise, exceptional intelligence, and outstanding personal discipline. In awarding this purse, the applicant’s financial need will be considered. No separate application is required but student must have submitted the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is available online: www.fafsa.ed.gov. Scholarship awards are indicated in the admission letter.

Civil Servant Merit Award

Awarded to an outstanding MBA applicant who is currently or was previously employed in a city, state, federal or international civil service. No separate application is required. Scholarship award is indicated in admission letter and is applied in increments throughout the student’s program.

International Merit Award – Africa

Awarded to an outstanding MBA applicant(s) from the continent of Africa. No separate application is required. Scholarship award is indicated in admission letter and is applied in increments throughout the student’s program.

International Merit Award – Europe

Awarded to an outstanding MBA applicant(s) from the continent of Europe. No separate application is required. Scholarship award is indicated in admission letter and is applied in increments throughout the student’s program.

International Merit Award – India

Awarded to an outstanding MBA applicant(s) from the country of India. No separate application is required. Scholarship award is indicated in admission letter and is applied in increments throughout the student’s program.

International Merit Award – Latin America

Awarded to an outstanding MBA applicant(s) from the Latin American region. No separate application is required. Scholarship award is indicated in admission letter and is applied in increments throughout the student’s program.

Awarded to an outstanding MBA applicant(s) from the country of Turkey. No separate application is required. Scholarship award is indicated in admission letter and is applied in increments throughout the student’s program.

Laura D. Sypin Memorial Scholarship

Awarded to a female MBA student; currently employed or who wishes to re-enter the workplace by earning an MBA degree. No separate application is required and scholarship awards are indicated in the admission letter.

MBA Alumni Scholarship
Awarded to an outstanding female MBA applicant from California. No separate application is required. Scholarship award is indicated in admission letter and is applied in increments throughout the student’s program.

Merit Scholarship
Awarded to graduate applicants. No separate application is required and scholarship awards are indicated in the admission letter. Amounts vary and the scholarship is applied in increments at the time of the student’s class registration.

National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) Scholarship
Awarded to a Full-Time MBA student who is of Hispanic heritage or has a demonstrated commitment to the Hispanic community.

Robert J. Smith Memorial Rehabilitation Scholarship
Awarded to a MBA student. Originally dedicated to those pursuing rehabilitation careers, but now open to all MBA students. No separate application is required and scholarship awards are indicated in the admission letter.

Approximate Award: $2,000

Richard Puntillo First Generation Scholarship
Awarded to an MBA student who is the first generation of his or her family to attend college with priority given to students who completed their undergraduate business education at USF. To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must submit the Richard Puntillo First Generation Scholarship essay as part of their online application for admission. The Admissions Committee reviews the candidates and scholarship awards are indicated in the applicant's admission letter.

Small Business Merit Award
Awarded to an outstanding MBA applicant who is currently or was previously employed by a small business. No separate application is required. Scholarship award is indicated in admission letter and is applied in increments throughout the student’s program.

University of California, Santa Barbara Merit Award

Awarded to an outstanding MBA applicant who is an alumnus/a from the University of California, Santa Barbara. No separate application is required.Scholarship award is indicated in admission letter and is applied in increments throughout the student’s program.

Graduate Community Service Merit Scholarship
In keeping with the University’s mission to educate for a more just social order, these scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis to a limited number of MSIS, MNA, MSOD and MPA*students who have demonstrated meritorious achievements in community service activities in either paid or volunteer positions. To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must submit the Community Service Merit Scholarship Essay as part of their online application for admission. Amounts may vary and scholarship awards are indicated in the admission letter.

Approximate Award: $2,500 - $5,000
