CAREER ASSESSMENT
CareerLeader is a fully integrated approach to business career self-assessment built on the premise that one's interests, motivators and skills will drive their future career success and satisfaction. Students can use the online CareerLeader tool to gain insight to their strengths and preferences.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS DEVELOPMENT
Strong communication skills are an essential component for career success. We offer workshops related to personal branding, resume writing, interview and negotiation skills.
CAREER STRATEGIES
Whether you're starting your career, looking to accelerate your advancement or planning a major transition, we offer our students access to industry professionals who can help them design their plan and execute it. Throughout the year, we provide opportunities for our students to gain experience with a variety of business leaders and organizations through a diverse collection of campus events and company visits.
ONLINE ACCESS TO EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Students and alumni have access to our database of job and internship listings used by employers to promote their current openings within the USF community.
RECRUITING & NETWORKING
Career Services maintains a strong network of recruiting professionals for a variety of industries. We also host a series of recruiting events throughout the year allowing you to build relationships with placement professionals and corporate recruiters over time. Participation and membership in professional associations is strongly encouraged as a way of expanding your professional network and gaining the expertise needed to excel in your field.
JOB AND INTERNSHIP LISTINGS
How to use the Online Career Management Tool - This online career management system houses job and internship listings, an event schedule, and allows for you to upload a multitude of documents to support your job search process. To access the tool, you must first create an account and submit your
information for approval. Approval takes between 1-3 business days. Once
your account has been approved,you will then have access to the system. Activate your Job Search Agent and you will be emailed job and internship listings that meet your search criteria.
