Department of Marketing
Jonathan Barsky, Associate Professor of Marketing in the
School of Management for over two decades, is the author of more
than 100 articles published in reputable academic and trade
journals, and two books including World-Class Customer
Satisfaction. Dr. Barsky brings to USF internationally
recognized research in the field of customer satisfaction, with a
focus on the hotel industry.
Shenzhao Fu, Associate Professor, is garnering international recognition for his research on the effects of western multinational companies on consumer perceptions in China. Dr. Fu’s specializations include cross-cultural management, negotiation, E-business marketing and international business.
Leslie A. Goldgehn, Professor in the Marketing Department, is garnering international recognition for her expertise in marketing strategy and leadership development. Dr. Goldgehn’s most recent casework centers on marketing to promote social justice, with investigations into marketing in the nonprofit sector and how to better engage students in their communities.

Nicholas Imparato, Department Chair and Professor of Marketing, is a highly respected international educator and researcher whose work frequently takes him to Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. He is a former a research fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University, and he served as a senior executive and board member of publicly listed and closely held firms here and abroad.

Stanley Kwong, Term Assistant Professor, brings to USF over 30 years of international management, marketing and teaching experience in the US, China, India, and Central Europe. He is a highly desired guest speaker at industry conferences and universities worldwide.
Director of Strategic Initiatives / Term Instructor
John O’Meara, Term Instructor and Director of Strategic Initiatives, is an on-pulse innovation driver and classically trained business executive, with a successful track record of growing companies and brands in the consumer goods and services, technology, retail and non-profit sectors. In recent years, he has turned his attentions to educating students on global team leadership, business development, corporate positioning and strategy, brand architecture, advertising, marketing strategy and communications.
Anthony Patino is a renowned expert in entertainment,
advertising and promotion, consumer behavior, public policy and
marketing analytics. He incorporates twenty years of experience as
an entertainment marketing executive into his illustrious teaching
career. Dr. Patino holds degrees in marketing, business
administration, planning and social policy from Duke University,
Harvard University and Temple University. His widely-published
research takes him to conferences all over the U.S.
Assistant Professor Sonja Martin Poole is an internationally recognized lecturer and researcher on transformative marketing strategy and marketing education. With particular emphasis on the ways in which marketing is used to bring about social change, Dr. Poole explores topics that include marketing ethics, sustainability, corporate responsibility, multicultural markets, education, public policy, and social welfare.
Sweta Chaturvedi Thota, Assistant Professor, is primarily
interested in exploring consumer behavior with specific research
emphasis on consumers' emotional and psychological
response to pricing, online search and the effects of advertising.
She asks her students to become hyper-observers of marketing in
their own environments, engaging them in questions like: "Who is
the target audience for annoying banner ads and do these banners
hurt or help the host website?"
Ricardo Villarreal De Silva, Assistant Professor, brings to USF years of extensive research on ethnic identity and core cultural values in the consumer behavior of Hispanics in the U.S. Dr. Villarreal is an expert in multicultural behavior and collaborates with international food production companies on ad account planning projects.
