Tatiana Fedyk is an experienced financial analyst and consultant who, before teaching at USF, held teaching positions at the University of California at Berkeley and Arizona State University. She teaches accountancy, financial information analysis and cost management. Her research interests include R&D overinvestment, real earnings management, financial management tools, accounting value relevance and underlying volatility.
Department Chair / Associate Professor
Carol Graham, Department Chair and Associate Professor of
Accounting, is highly regarded for her research on financial
reporting. She examines the value-relevance of financial and
non-financial information, and the determinants of earnings
Fr. John Koeplin, S.J., Associate Professor of Accounting, is
the embodiment of USF's core values. As a rigorous
academic and devoted educator, Professor Koeplin's work
centers on ethical accounting and the teaching of Jesuit and
Catholic business education.
Diane Roberts, Professor of Accounting, is motivated by a deep
concern for unethical financial reporting and non-transparent
corporate accounting, considering the potential for catastrophic
effects on the environment, community trust, and the global
economy. Dr. Roberts engages her students in discussions that
address both honorable and unlawful corporate practices, as well as
historical cases that will naturally elicit debate.
Claudia Roehl, Term Instructor of Accounting, brings to USF
over ten years of experience as a Finance Director, V.P., Financial
Analyst Officer and Senior Accountant, with research concentration
in structured finance, and specifically, collateralized mortgage
obligations (CMOs) and asset-backed securities (ABS). Her work aims
to leverage and combine economic and accounting studies with her
extensive knowledge of financial investment instruments.
Todd Sayre, Associate Professor of Accounting, is a highly accomplished academic whose research examines ethics in financial accounting and sustainable, socially responsible business. Dr. Sayre is a Certified Public Accountant with a Ph.D. in Business Administration, as well as holding additional professional certification in sustainability reporting, which was granted by the Global Reporting Initiative.
