Globalization Program

As globalization continues to erode business barriers, more early-stage companies are “born global”, launched with aspirations of working on an International scale. Our Internationalization program readies entrepreneurs, corporate executives, marketing leaders and technology managers for operating in this broadening world marketplace.

USF is uniquely positioned to offer your organization intimate exposure to the energetic entrepreneurial environment of Silicon Valley and the surrounding Bay Area. Working alongside our seasoned faculty and an MBA consultant, you will garner a deep understanding of critical factors for global success. Our program is divided into three sequential phases over a three to six month period and can be delivered either in-person or remotely using video and teleconferencing.

  • Phase I builds a foundation of global business knowledge and the Internationalization process drawn from presentations and dialogue with USF faculty.
  • Phase II partners you with a USF faculty supervisor and MBA consultant in applying concepts from Phase I to the intricacies of your particular business model. Culmination of this phase results in an audit of your company’s readiness for global expansion.
  • Phase III allows for qualified, ready organizations to visit the U.S. and meet with potential partners, funders and strategic stakeholders from Silicon Valley and the surrounding area.

Early-stage companies interested in participating are encouraged to contact Monica Novoa at mnovoa@usfca.edu or by phone at (415) 422.6706.
