Senior Director of Corporate and International Executive Programs
Carlos Baradello is truly a globally educated citizen.
At The University of San Francisco School of Business and Professional Studies he is responsible for Academic Immersion study programs: relationships in Latin America and Europe; our Executive Training and Certificate Programs; our Working With Entrepreneurs program; and Hispanic Market Immersions.
He graduated summa cum laude from the Universidad Católica de Córdoba in Argentina with an Electrical Electronic Engineering Degree, went on to receive his Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands and then earned his PhD in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh. Through his work, Carlos seeks to underscore the importance of gaining business perspective through international connections and explorations, and displaying entrepreneurial commitment through real-life engagement.
Carlos has received numerous outstanding achievement awards such as the Professional Distinction Award by the Córdoba Technology Cluster in Argentina. His research interests center upon global markets and technology. His current research focuses on the US Hispanic Market and its relationship to national markets of origin; and, globalization and business acceleration of start-ups created and incubated in Latin America. His findings have been published in various international journals and he has lectured at a number of universities worldwide including Stanford University, Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria (Chile) and the University of Mumbai. He advises the governments of Spain, Chile and Argentina on economic development and entrepreneurship promotion. In addition to his duties as the Associate Dean, Carlos teaches theme based Global Immersion Programs, Global Product Development, Entrepreneurship and Business Plan Development, and International Marketing at USF.
