Meet the Staff

Kim Rutledge, Learning Center Director

KimRutledge_150Kim is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Retail Merchandising from Ohio University, and a Master of Science in College Student Personnel from Miami University. Working in the Learning Center, Kim’s greatest joy is regularly interacting with students and helping them take steps to achieve their goals. In her free time, Kim enjoys knitting, reading, watching movies, and exploring the city.


Kimberly Harris, Learning Center Assistant Director

KimHarris_150Kimberly is originally from Orange County, CA and graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Communications. She received her Masters degree in International and Multicultural Education at USF. Kimberly enjoys working with students of various backgrounds/cultures while providing tips and resources on how to successfully navigate through the college experience. Her interests include all things international, from eating various cuisines to traveling around the world. She also loves being outside with her husband, baby girl and dog, taking in all the beautiful nature around San Francisco and the Bay Area. 


Antonio Taylor, Families & Youth in Transition Graduate InternLWC staff - Antonio

Antonio Taylor is working on a Master’s in Higher Education and Students Affairs at USF. Through his position as the coordinator for FYIT, Antonio supports USF students and advises them in their role as tutors. Prior to coming to USF, Antonio worked as a Senior Counselor and Trainer for Seneca Family of Agencies for five years. Antonio graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in Sociology and also holds a certificate in Massage Therapy and Health Education from the National Holistic Institute in Emeryville. During his undergraduate years, Antonio took on leadership roles with service programs such as Circle K Int’l and Alpha Phi Omega. When Antonio is not on the Learning and Writing Center clock, he enjoys spending time with family, his two kittens and becoming more knowledgeable about the hidden gems around San Francisco. After graduating from USF, Antonio hopes to work with underrepresented populations at the community college level.

Sarah Partin, America Reads Graduate InternLWC staff 2

Sarah Partin is pursuing a Master’s in Higher Education and Students Affairs at USF. As the America Reads Graduate Assistant, Sarah coordinates K-3 literacy tutoring at various school sites in San Francisco and trains undergraduate tutors working with the program. Before coming to USF, Sarah worked as a middle school teacher in East Palo Alto with the non-profit organization, Citizen Schools. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Literature with a minor in Creative Writing and a concentration in Philosophy from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg Florida. During her spare time, Sarah enjoys soaking in all that San Francisco has to offer and traveling, especially visiting family on the east coast where she was born and raised.  

Tracie Ishikawa, Supplemental Instruction Graduate InternLWC Staff 7

Tracie Ishikawa is working on her MFA in Writing at USF. Through her position as the coordinator for Supplemental Instruction, Tracie supervises USF undergraduate students in their roles as Supplemental Instruction Leaders for high-risk courses at the university. Prior to coming to USF, Tracie worked in the non-profit sector as well as the beverage industry in various marketing and communications roles. When Tracie is not writing or working at the LWC, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. Tracie holds degrees in Communications and English Literature.
