Faculty Information FAQs In alignment with our mission, the staff of the Learning & Writing Center works with USF faculty to help students achieve the goals set for the course.

We can provide peer tutors to assist students with the development of course-specific study strategies and greater understanding of course material. For historically challenging courses, we also offer Supplemental Instruction.  Our staff can develop and facilitate workshops  on course-specific topics and issues and is also available to offer additional individualized support for students.

Sample Syllabus Statement The Learning & Writing Center provides assistance to students in their academic pursuits. Services are free to all USF students and include individual and group tutoring appointments, writing assistance provided by Rhetoric and Composition professors, and consultations to develop specific study strategies and approaches.
