City Bus Service
San Francisco's bus service (MUNI) has a large fleet of buses, trolleys, trains, and cable cars that travel the entire city. MUNI lines 5 Fulton, 21 Hayes, 31 Balboa, 38 Geary and 43 Masonic run close to USF. Fare: $1.25/adults and $.35/seniors over 65.

SFO Shuttle / Taxi Service
Take Super Shuttle or a taxi from the airport directly to USF. Tell the driver you are going to the University of San Francisco. The MAIN CAMPUS is on Golden Gate Avenue between Masonic and Parker. The LONE MOUNTAIN CAMPUS is on Turk Street, between Masonic and Parker. Shuttle fare is $15.00. Taxi fare is $36.00.

SFO Rapid Train
Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) runs from SFO to downtown San Francisco, leaving frequently from the SFO International terminal. Fare: $4.95. From downtown, either city cabs or MUNI bus lines 31, 5 and 38 go to the campus.

Directions

From Bay Bridge/Highway 80/580 West:

Take the 9th Street/ Civic Center exit. Take the first right turn onto 9th Street. Stay in the left hand lane (at Market Street, the road forks into Hayes Street and Larkin Street.) Take the left fork, onto Hayes Street. Turn right onto Van Ness Avenue. Turn left onto Turk Street. For the MAIN CAMPUS turn left onto Masonic Avenue and right onto Golden Gate Avenue. The entrance will be on your left. For the LONE MOUNTAIN CAMPUS turn right up the driveway just before Parker Avenue.

From San Francisco International Airport/Highway 101 North:

From Highway 280 North:

Take the 19th Avenue exit. Stay on 19th Avenue for approximately three miles. Pass through Golden Gate Park, and turn right onto Fulton Street. Turn left onto Parker Avenue. For the MAIN CAMPUS turn right onto Golden Gate Avenue The visitor's entrance will be on the right. For the LONE MOUNTAIN CAMPUS make a right onto Turk Street. The campus will be immediately on your left.

From Golden Gate Bridge/Highway 101 South:

After crossing the bridge, stay in the right lane and take the 19th Avenue exit. Drive through the tunnel and continue on Park Presidio. Turn right onto Cabrillo Street, right onto 14th Avenue and right again onto Balboa Street. Balboa Street will turn into Turk Street, when you cross Arguello Avenue. For the MAIN CAMPUS turn right onto Parker Avenue and left onto Golden Gate Avenue The visitor's entrance will be on the right. For the LONE MOUNTAIN CAMPUS turn left onto the driveway, immediately after Parker Avenue

Campus Parking

A limited number of passes are sold daily from the Golden Gate and Lone Mountain entrances. For conference groups, parking passes can be prearranged through USF Public Safety at 422-4222 or Conference Services at 422-6166.
