About Me:
I was born in San Francisco and lived up and down both coasts of the U.S. as a child. I went to high school at Taipei American School (Taiwan), have a BA in Culture, Ecology, and Sustainable Community from New College of California and an MS in Library and Information Science from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Past Lives:
I've worked in all kinds of libraries in Southern and Northern California, and in between have been a recycler, a photographer, a bindery worker, a paralegal, and a planning and environmental law analyst.

Gleeson/Geschke:
I've worked here since 1998, when I started out in Periodicals and moved to cataloging government documents as a Library Assistant. In my current position, which I've held since 2003, I'm responsible for acquisition and cataloging of the library's non-book collections (videos, maps, etc.) as well as overseeing government documents and gifts processing.

Professional Interests:
Liaison areas, media librarianship, government information, non-book cataloging, international students and libraries, and outreach.
