This search will show you if a particular periodical title (journal, magazine, newspaper) is part of the library's print periodical collection, or is available full text in one of our online databases.
This is a sample result for the Journal of Continuing Education in Nursing:
- "USF Print and Online Journal Holdings," indicates that this title is part of our periodical collection. Click the link to see which issues we own.
- The second entry indicates that the database called "Education Full Text" has the full text of this title online from 1996 to the present. If the date of your article falls within this range, then click the link to go to the database, and then do a search for the particular article you are looking for.
- If there are no results for the periodical title you are looking for, you can make an interlibrary loan request, and we'll get a copy of the article for you (students and faculty from our regional campuses only please use the Document Delivery resource instead of interlibrary loan).
Or, check to see if another library carries the journal so you can go and make a copy yourself.
Be aware that occasionally a full text link will fail to work, or a database may fail to have the full text that the search results indicate. If you find one of these problems, please let us know so that we can bring it to the attention of the appropriate vendor.
