About me:
I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and raised in Superior, Wisconsin. I have a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin, Superior (which included a Library Science minor) and M.L.I.S from San Jose State University.

I worked in my high school library and my undergraduate college library. I worked in Serials Acquisitions at the University of Wisconsin, Madison as a Library Associate before coming to California. Once here I worked at the Mechanics' Institute Library while I went to graduate school. I have been at USF since 1984. I began as a Cataloger and when the library automated I was recruited to manage that project. Library Systems quickly evolved into a full department which has expanded in scope and now also includes Digital Collections.
