What kinds of material are referenced?
Project Muse is a full-text database of over 100 scholarly publications, most notably in the fields of literature and criticism, history, visual and performing arts, cultural studies, education, political science, and gender studies. Its search capabilities include: full-text searches across all journals in the database, selected journal titles, or limiting to a single title. You can also search tables of contents of articles and book reviews by author and title as well as Library of Congress subject headings.

It varies by title. Current coverage for selected titles begins as early as 1993.
