Routing of Looseleaf Filing

All new binders and/or editions of titles with looseleaf filing associated with it are to be routed to the Circulation Assistant who supervises looseleaf filing AFTER PROCESSING. New editions will go to Cataloging first and then to Processing. Following receipt of the stripping, stamping and label, the binders with associated looseleaf pages should be put on the Reference cart for review. After reviewing the Reference cart is returned to Cataloging Assistant who places the looseleaf materials on the bottom shelf of the new book truck for the Circulation Assistant, who will arrange the interfiling and shelving. The only exception to this will be the Canadian Abridgment materials which are filed and shelved by the Reference Librarian.
