RTYP = Record Type
RTYP indicates the type of data attached to a bibliographic record. RTYP is
system-supplied for most values, based on the type of data present in the record.
You can change certain RTYP values to create on-order or in-process records.
Codes:
a Acquisitions data only
b Both acquisitions and cataloging data
c Cataloging data
d Archival control data
e Both archival control and acquisitions data
i In process
o On order
When cataloging ordered items, find order record for the item in RLIN and change
"o", (On Order) to "c" (Cataloging Data).
The Law Library uses code "c" and "o".

ST = Records Status Code
ST indicates the status of the record in RLIN.
Codes:
p Production record: The record will be fully indexed in overnight processing,
and cards and transaction records will be generated.
s Saved record: The record is entered into the database but is not indexed and
no transaction records are generated. They can be reviewed or revised.
t Temporary record
d Demo record
c Corrected record
e Error record
The Law Library uses code "p".
DCF = Descriptive cataloging form
A one-character code that indicates the descriptive cataloging form reflected
in the record.
Codes:
a AACR2: The descriptive portion of the record and the choice and form of
Entrey of the access points are formulated according to the second edition of
the Anglo-American Cataloging Rules.
i ISBD: The descriptive portion of the record is formulated according
To the descriptive and punctuation provision of ISBD (International Standard
Bibliographic Description)
u Unknown: Non AACR2. This code is not used in newly input or updated records
