Library Services for Faculty
Introduction to Zief's Classroom & Research Support Services For Faculty
- Faculty Liaison Program: Zief Law Library has instituted
a faculty liaison program to support faculty's research efforts. Each faculty
member has a librarian assigned to him or her, who is available to help with
research projects, online research training, research assistant training,
current awareness services, classroom presentations, book purchase requests,
inter-library loans, and more. If you're not sure which librarian is assigned
to you, contact Lee Ryan at 415-422-2253.
- Research Classes & Presentations: Zief's reference
librarians are happy to prepare in-class research presentations for your courses.
The library has a wide range of materials that support students' upper-level
research needs, and many of these resources are not covered in the first-year
LRWA program. We will design our presentations and handouts to address your
course's particular needs. Contact your faculty liaison or any of the reference
librarians to arrange for a presentation.
- TWEN & Online Course Page Support: Support for your
TWEN site is available at the library! If you would like to receive training
on how to use TWEN, Westlaw's course management software, contact Amy Wright,
Zief's Online Research Services Librarian, at ajwright at usfca.edu or at
extension 5112. If you are interested in using another online course management
tool, such as LexisNexis Web Courses or Blackboard, you may contact Amy Wright
for further information.
