International Programs

The USF School of Law educates students to be effective lawyers with a social conscience, high ethical standards, and a global perspective.

“In today’s job market, international experience is no longer optional.  We are committed to increasing the marketability of our graduates by providing competitive international externships that keep pace with current affairs and global demands.”

Dean John Trasviña

Recognizing that globalization can offer great benefits to the promotion of justice and the protection of human rights, the USF School of Law has developed an innovative mix of international programs focusing on contemporary issues in law and providing students with professional experience to help them launch a rewarding legal career.

Summer International Externships

Application Deadline:  Stay tune!

The USF School of Law provides global summer externships for students in China, the Philippines, Vietnam and in cities throughout Europe. Participating students apply the skills they have learned in law school at international business law firms, government agencies, NGOs and foreign judicial offices. Externships bring students to dynamic law offices around the world and present unbounded opportunities for learning and professional networking in both human rights law and international business law. Externships are open to students who have completed one year of full-time study at the USF School of Law. Students must be in good academic standing and program availability depends upon minimum enrollment.

Student Exchange Programs

The law school offers student exchange programs in the fall and spring terms in Hong Kong, Luxembourg, China and the Czech Republic.
