Merit Scholarships

The School of Law awards merit scholarships to selected students entering their first year of study, based on their pre-law school academic achievement and demonstrated potential for success in legal studies. All applicants are considered for merit scholarships, which may be granted after a review of the materials submitted in support of the application for admission. No additional financial aid or other forms are required. Successful applicants are notified of any scholarship award with their offer of admission.

The Merit Scholarships are funded, in part, by generous gifts from, or made in honor of, alumni and friends of the School of Law. For a list of donors, please click here.

Outside Scholarship Opportunities

A number of organizations not affiliated with the University provide scholarships to selected students depending on varying affiliations and other criteria. For your convenience, we have compiled a guide to many of these opportunities which is available as a “pdf” document by clicking here. Please note that we have no role in awarding any of the scholarships listed in the resource guide and the criteria or other information may have changed since we compiled the list.
