Yu Awarded Medal of Excellence

July 07, 2010

Ning Yu '10 was awarded the 2010 American Bankruptcy Institute Medal of Excellence for her outstanding performance in her bankruptcy coursework.

The American Bankruptcy Institute honors graduating law students throughout the nation for their academic achievements.

"Ning Yu is among the brightest and most talented students with whom I have had the pleasure of working at USF,” Professor Bruce Price said. “In her Bankruptcy course, she received the highest grade and the Cali award for excellence. She will make a huge contribution to the bankruptcy bar and I look forward to following her career and accomplishments in the future."

Yu was honored in a ceremony preceding graduation on May 22. She received an engraved medal and certificate from the American Bankruptcy Institute.

The American Bankruptcy Institute, founded in 1982, is the largest multi-disciplinary, non-partisan organization dedicated to research and education on insolvency.
