In this month's e-newsletter, you'll read about our annual Alumni Reunion Gala, which was an overwhelming success with hundreds of graduates, friends, and family gathered to reconnect with each other and the law school. Many of our current students were also in the room, finding inspiration from the connections they made with fellow members of the USF School of Law family. As I said that evening, students need our support now more than ever. The classes that now grace our law school are diverse, smart, and full of students who care about the world and want to do the right thing. These are also students who are facing challenges that we could never have imagined, from student debt to a depressed economy. They need our support now so that they can build the kind of fulfilling lives and careers that brought them to the law school in the first place. I am heartened by the law school's wonderful community of alumni and friends, knowing that today's students have great role models who can support them as we all navigate challenging times. Come to think of it, what a great thought as the holiday season approaches. Lots to give thanks for!
Sincerely,
Jeffrey S. Brand
