Thomas D. Brooks

Adjunct Professor

Thomas D. Brooks spent a 37-year career in banking law at two San Francisco law firms and the Bank of America. In that time, he worked on a wide range of matters—bank charters, foreign bank licensing and operations, mergers and acquisitions, bank regulatory compliance and legislation, litigation (both in the U.S. and abroad), and credit transactions, including numerous loan syndications. The most interesting and challenging time was the three years he spent in London managing Bank of America’s legal affairs in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
