Richard J. Heafey

Adjunct Professor

Adjunct Professor Richard J. Heafey is co-chairman of the ABA subcommittee on Attorney-Client Privilege and Work Product and is a member of the advisory board of the Center for Applied Ethics at Santa Clara University. He has lectured for California Continuing Education of the Bar and for the Defense Research Institute. Heafey has written numerous articles and is the co-author of Product Liability: Winning Strategies and Tactics (Law Journal Seminars Press, 2000). He is counsel at Reed Smith LLP where he specializes in product liability litigation. He received the Ira Brown Adjunct Faculty Award from the USF School of Law in 2001.
